π₯ Ingredients
- π 4 Slices of Bread
- π« Frying Fat / Cooking Oil
π©βπ³ Method
- Cut slices of bread about 1cm (10mm) thick (unless using pre-sliced bread).
- Cut the bread into fingers about the same width as the thickness.
- Turn the fingers and cut them into cubes.
- Heat frying fat or cooking oil in a pan.
- When a slight haze rises from the oil, carefully add the bread cubes a few at a time.
- Fry until golden brown β they should brown in about 2 minutes.
- Drain on kitchen paper (paper towel).
- Keep hot until ready to use.
π Perfect for adding a crisp, golden finish to soups and salads.
